Introducing Dr. Anindya Kishore Majumder, our dedicated eye specialist with a wealth of experience and qualifications. Dr.Anindya completed his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College & Hospital, followed by a DO from the Regional Institute Of Ophthalmology in Kolkata and a DNB (Ophthalmology) from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He completed a fellowship training in Uvea and Medical Retina in Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, and Kolkata. With a focus on uveitis, intraocular inflammation, ocular immunology, medical retina, and cataract surgery, Dr. Anindya has served as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata, and as a Senior Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Global Eye Hospital, and Pushpanjali Eye Care in Kolkata. Dr. Anindya is renowned as one of the leading experts in Eastern India for complicated uveitis management and advanced cataract surgeries. His fields of interest include retinal vasculitis, uveitis related to collagen vascular disorders, and immunotherapeutics. With over 5000 Phacoemulsification procedures, including all types of premium IOLs(Toric, Multifocal, EDOF), and 2700+ Phacoemulsification in complicated uveitic cataracts, Dr. Anindya showcases exceptional surgical skills. He is also proficient in Retinal Laser procedures, specializing in vasculitis and diabetes. His expertise extends to various retinal imaging techniques, such as wide-field Fundus Fluorescein angiography, Indocyanine green Angiography, and Spectral-domain Optical Coherence Tomography. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr.Anindya is actively involved in research and academic activities. He conducts instruction courses and presents cases, posters, and papers at national and international conferences and CMEs. Serving as faculty in different PG training programs, he imparts his knowledge to MS, DO, DNB, And optometry students and specialty fellowship trainees. Dr. Anindya also contributes to the field as a reviewer in ophthalmic journals like Ocular Immunology and Inflammation, IJO, BMC, and Nepal Journal of Ophthalmology. His commitment to healthcare is further evidenced by his experience in hospital infection control committee work.
